We picked just over 100! What a blessing, and sooo much fun!

Now to DECORATE the Lodge to my heart's content! I can't wait!

Newest Baby...

Introducing the newest member of the Chickadee Lane Lodge family! This little guy's name is Sam, and he is a half German Shepherd, half We-Don't-Know-What little darling. His birth mom's owners couldn't keep him or the rest of his brothers and sisters. We were sooo happy to bring him home with us!

Garden Chickens Are Happy Chickens....

My feathered ladies are loving their "Garden Time!" They still need to do some more growing....

But it should only be about two more months until we begin getting some lovely, creamy brown eggshells with farm-fresh eggs inside!

We can hardly wait! Country life at its finest....
