At Chickadee Lane Lodge I have a love affair going on with anything old and well-loved. The more worn, the better! I love articles around me that offer a glimpse into a world gone by. A world where everything was not plastic and disposable. This old luggage was no exception. I love how the finish is streaky and mottled. I also love the latches that snap shut.
I wonder where it has been and the places it has seen?
Although I tend to not roam too far from home, I sometimes think of the places I'll see someday when my children are old enough for me to journey afar. Until then, this old luggage helps keep those dreams alive.
