One of my favorite parts about the Lodge are the secret and not-so-secret little seating nooks scattered all over the house and property. They are the perfect spots to curl up in with a quilt and a favorite book or to just contemplate the state of the world (or the state of you).
This is a rocker I found at the thrift store. Someone had already painted it cream a long time ago and it is chipping off in just the right way. It sits on our front porch and is almost always occupied by a cat or, when they can beat the felines to it, a real live human.
It looks like the perfect spot to just relax for a bit, doesn't it? Stop by for a visit and sit a spell!
