Piecemaking....

This is my latest sewing/quilting project...a table topper I am piecing together. I know my limitations and focus on larger pieces to lessen my frustration level! Someday I will have the time to do smaller, fussier patterns but for now it is just not happening. I seize a moment here and there for cutting and piecing and am happy to still get a sizeable project for my efforts.

Now on to the batting, backing and quilting. Simple and sweet! I can't wait to see how it all turns out...check back for pics of the finished project!

God bless all of you "piece"makers!

This is a nice project. I like to do piecework, too, though I find matching the corners on a pattern like yours tricky. It's hard for me to get it precise. Yours looks perfect!

Are you going to quilt it?

I tend to do small pieces because I don't have much room in my home and also because I like to be able to carry projects with me when I'm away from home. I'd love to spread out and work on a big project someday.

Can you tell I like this kind of stuff? Post more projects when you work on them. Cool stuff.

Thanks! Yes, I am planning on quilting it but am trying to decide between hand quilting and machine quilting it...decisions, decisions!
